Edge Milling Machine - Feature: Lower Energy Consumption

This equipment consists of a bed assembly, worktable, gantry assembly, heavy-duty milling power head, chip removal system, hydraulic system, and control system. The machine tool base components are made of welded structural parts. The manufacturing process is as follows: welding overall annealing and stress relief treatment shot blasting surface treatment rough machining aging vibration secondary stress relief treatment finish machining. After these steps, a structure with high mechanical and thermal stability is achieved. The components utilize a thick-walled, multi-ribbed structure, resulting in a compact design and high machine rigidity. Finite element analysis was applied to effectively predict and optimize the machine's static and dynamic performance, ensuring high performance and cost-effectiveness.

The gantry is equipped with two heavy-duty milling power heads. The heavy-duty milling power heads use variable-frequency geared motors to drive the milling spindle rotation, offering the advantage of low speed and high torque. The milling power heads have good rigidity, and the milling height is adjusted via a side handwheel, allowing for processing of workpieces with different thicknesses. The heavy-duty milling power heads are equipped with follower pressure rollers on the side. When machining bevels on long edges (X-axis direction), the follower pressure rollers compress the workpiece and move with the milling power head, ensuring stable processing in the machining area.

The worktable is fixed, facilitating easy loading and unloading of workpieces. Several T-slots are provided on the worktable surface for mounting special fixtures or directly clamping workpieces. Movable support beams are arranged on the worktable. The support beams are connected to the worktable via T-slot bolts. Depending on the workpiece size, the support beams are moved to the designated position before clamping the workpiece and performing bevel machining.
