Khadi Dpc (Damp Proof Course)

• Drill holes in the wall at suitable intervals in the affected area(Depth: max. 60 % of the wall thickness, 8-10mm)
  


• Brass nozzles will be fitted in these holes with suitable sealant at the joints.
  


• Inject polymer modified cement slurry that fills the capillaries and voids and does not shrink like ordinary cement slurries, under pressure (30-40 psi)
  


• After 1-2 days we will inject by multi-step method oligomeric alkyl alkoxy saline / silicones and cross-link thereby preventing capillary condensation using our specialized method.
  


• Removal of the nozzles & fill the drilled holes with non-shrink high strength repair mortar
  


• If absolutely necessary we may remove the plaster in a few places of the affected area and give a sealer treatment with a coating of PMC.
  


• After completion of the work you may get the painting job done perfectly after 10 days (not within the scope of our work).

The above will achieve the following results:

• Compaction of the wall by reducing porosity
  


• Prevent capillary condensation of water even through cracks < 1mm

Durability

Water Proofing with DPC Chemicals is warranted for 5years. This does not imply that it is durable only for this period. The treatment, being very inert, is durable for a very long period.
