Working of Dowell Pin Pullers :
* Select proper size of spanner for removing press fitted dowel.
* Minimum 7 mm projection of dowel is required for gripping.
* Load the spanners as shown in figure.
Start rotating the spanner anticlockwise. As soon as the dowel starts rotating along with Spanner, start pulling in upward direction. Ensure that the rotating and pulling action of the spanner should be carried out simultaneously.
