The dosa making machine is developed by Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore. The capacity of the machine is to produce 400 dosas per hour. It offers continuous production of dosas which are prepared hygienically.
The dosa making machine offers sequential way of preparation process which includes batter dispersion, depositing, spreading on the hotplate, toasting/ roasting and oil application. Within a predetermined time dosas are rolled and discharged. The machine also allows preparation of different kinds of dosas in various sizes. The machine is ideal for defense canteens, hotels and other such places where dosas are required on large scale. The variable speed of the device allows effective control for LPG to select time, temperature and output combinations.
