Our range of Doppler Weather Radar is a new generation of S-band fully coherent Doppler weather radar. The radar is characterized by advanced performance and technical specifications, long detection range, high automation level, and high operating stability. JY-33 radar contains antenna unit, radar transmitting/receiving equipment, and data processing unit.
The radar is able to monitor the large-scale severe precipitation targets within 500km, such as tropical cyclone and rainstorm, monitor and recognize the mesoscale and small scale severe weather phenomena beyond 250km, such as tornado, hail cloud, hail, and etc. The measurement range of radial wind velocity is greater than A 48m/s. It provides a strong tool for the mesoscale and small scale severe weather system analysis, strong convection disastrous weather alerting, and short-time weather forecast making.
The radar is not only suitable for all levels of weather departments, but also finds wide applications in water conservancy, agriculture, traffic, salt field, and atmospheric physical research.
