Domperidone, a prokinetic agent is an effective and safe agent to improve gastrointestinal motility. Domperidone increases LES pressure and enhances the upper gastrointestinal motility and thus treats the underlying pathophysiological causes of dyspepsia and GERD. Thus this combination of pantoprazole and domperidone effectively treats the symptoms and the underlying causes of reflux diseases.
