Disc Harrow

Disc Harrow is a farm implement that is used to cultivate the soil where crops are to be planted. It is also used to chop up unwanted weeds or crop remainders and loosen the soil if it has been packed. It consists of many iron or steel discs which have slight concavity and are arranged into two gangs. The discs are also offset so that they are not parallel with the overall direction of the implement. This is so they slice the ground they cut over a little bit to optimize the result. The concavity of the discs as well as their being offset causes them to loosen and pickup the soil they cut.
RAJUa s Disc Harrow is a mounted, hydraulically operated implement suitable for attachment to tractors. It has discs in two gangs, front discs are notched and rear discs are plain. The front gang may be moved right or left, to a maximum of two feet in relation to the hitch frame. Similarly, rear gang may also be moved right or left to a maximum of two feet in relation to the front gang, thus our harrow gives a maximum counterbalance of four feet. Its rigid structure and depth of penetration adapts heavy harrowing, whilst unit attachment to the tractor with working depth controlled hydraulically, ensures easy harrowing in small areas and corners.
