ALTERNATORS
Alternators are horizontal foot mounted with two ball bearings. The Voltage of regulation is well withing limits 5%. The alternator is self excited self regulated, screen protect, drip proof. The wave form is sinosidual and thf is within 5%. The static excitation unit comprises of compounding transformer with a full wave Silicon Diode rectifier bridge and is mounted on top. In higher rating of alternators, the same is fitted in the body of alterntors itself.
No.1 Crown alternators are particularly suitable for motor starting due to its transformer. Made from best steel for shaft and steel laminations, both are would by super enamelled wire. The armature is roating type, axial fan is provided at the drive end for better cooling. After the test of machine, when a quantity order is placed and agreed upon High Voltage test is conducted as per IS: 4722.
1 KVA TO 40 KVA SINGLE PHASE, 5 KVA TO 75 KVA THREE PHASE.
