In Semi Solid Forming the component raw material (Aluminium Alloys) is in Semi Solid State. The die is designed with 2 openings (day lights). This helps in auto trimming of the biscuit and component ejection. The feed system is designed specially to facilitate the inflow of material in semi solid state. The major advantage of the Semi Solid casting is that it produces excellent quality of components with minimum or no porosity.

In Squeeze Casting is a combination of Casting & Forging processes. The molten metal is poured into the pre-heated die. As the metal parts solidify, pressure is applied during the final solidification process. Using this process, parts of great details with forging quality can be produced. The porosity is low and the mechanical properties are better.
