These Dibasic Lead Phosphite(DLP) is produced and supplied as a fine white or slightly brown powder. With a lead (Pb) content of 83.5%, it confers excellent long term weather protection on both rigid and flexible PVC compounds. It has a high refractive index which imparts a higher opacity than other basic lead compounds, smell sweet. Indissoluble in water but dissoluble in acid, changes into ash black at 200a and changes into yellow at 450a . Will burn when meeting fire.
