Desizing Enzymes For weaving of cotton or blends made fabrics, the warp threads are coated with an adhesive substance known as 'sizeAca E ; to prevent the threads breaking. Starch and its derivatives have been the most common sizing agent. After weaving, the size must be removed again in order to prepare the fabric for dyeing and finishing.Traditionally this process (desizing) was carried out by treating the fabric with chemicals such as acids, alkali or oxidising agents, which are harmful to fabrics, human and environment. To overcome these problems, starch A A breaking enzymes (amylases) are preferred for desizing due to their high efficiency and specific action. Amylases bring about complete removal of the size without any harmful effects on the fabric.PacZyme offers wide range of amylases for desizing which work at different temperatures and for different equipment.Pac-DesZyme-LT/L ( Alpha amylase for low temperature desizing )Pac-DesZyme-HT/L ( Alpha amylase for high temperature desizing )ApplicationPac-DesZyme-LT/L and Pac-DesZyme-HT/L are the alpha-amylase enzyme preparations & they are used for desizing of fabric like cotton and its blends that has been sized with starch and starch size mixtures at low and high temperature range. It hydrolyzes starch into soluble dextrin and oligosaccharides that can be rapidly washed out with fabric. It gives excellent desizing effect yielding softer handle, improved absorbency & dye penetration.Why to use Pac-DesZyme-LT/L and Pac-DesZyme-HT/L ?Specific action on starch and starch based sized material.No damage to the fiber and fabrics.Wide variety of application processes.Eco-friendly & Biodegradable.Characteristics & Processing Parameters: Form Liquid Color Light Brown Translucent Operative pH range 5 Aca a 10 Operative Temperature Range 25A A C to 45A A C for Pac-DesZyme-LT/L 45A A C to 70A A C for Pac-DesZyme-HT/L Solubility Soluble in water Processing Guidelines:The enzymatic effect depends on nature of fabric, type of process and application parameters. It is recommended to check process parameters like garment load size, liquor ratio, temperature, pH, process time, dosage and rinsing cycles.Dosage:The dosage can be optimized on basis of trials only and depends upon nature of fabric, type of process, processing conditions and desired level of performance efficacy. The recommended dosages however are 0.5 Aca a 1 % (owg).Compatibility:It is recommended to test compatibility of Pac-DesZyme-LT/L and Pac-DesZyme-HT/L with ingredients like wetting agents etc. prior to its use and its applications.Packing:It is available in 25 KG & 50 KG HDPE Drums.Storage:Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement.Shelf Life:It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25A A C.Safety:Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
