Each highly accurate density sensor from Anton Paar continuously monitors the product quality and product specifications of liquids during production. The measurement uses the reliable oscillating U-tube principle.

Density sensor: For many liquid solutions and mixtures, the density is directly proportional to the concentration. It is therefore useful to use a density sensor to determine concentration.

The measuring principle of the density sensor: The density sensor transforms the oscillation of a U-tube filled with sample into a frequency signal, measures the temperature and sends both to an evaluation unit. Measurement with a density sensor immediately detects the smallest deviations. Temperature-compensated density and concentration values are calculated in real-time.
