Delrin Zipper Description :
The bulk of a zip consists of two strips of fabric tape, each affixed to one of the two pieces to be joined, carrying from tens to hundreds of specially shaped metal or plastic teeth. These teeth can be either individual or shaped from a continuous coil, and are also referred to as elements.

delrin zippers are identical to metal zippers, except that the teeth are delrin instead of metal. Metal zippers can be painted to match the surrounding fabric; delrin zippers can be made in any color of vislon. Delrin zippers mostly use polyacetal resin though other resins are used as well, such as polyethylene.
