Cylindrical Grinding Machine - Close-grained Cast Iron Base, En24 Steel Spindle | Hydraulic Automatic Travel, Precision Hand-scraped Way

We are offering our customers a wide range of Cylindrical Grinding Machine. The base is made of close-grained cast iron and is well ribbed. It is made particularly heavy to prevent vibration and distortion the guide way-one side flat and the other V type are precision hand scrapped to match the corresponding surfaces of the table slides. Longitudinal hand travel of the table is by rack and pinion arrangement and automatic travel by hydraulic. The change over from manual lubrication of the longitudinal and cross slide way, two oil pockets and groves are provided, one at each end.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
This consists of a general pump, Oil tank, piping, etc. All conveniently housed in the base. The hydraulic is made of graded cast iron and is honed.

WHEELHEAD
The rigid wheel head spindle is made of EN24 or 353 steel hardened and ground. It runs is adjustable type bush bearing. The drive to the wheel head transverse is cross direction is on precision hard scraped and flat guide way. He spindle is tapered (5??) at the front to receive the wheel flange. Oil hole are provided for lubrication of the bearing surfaces.
