Standard: IEC 60502 Part1
Conductor:
Soft annealed stranded copper wires concentrically stranded in successive layers, in opposite direction,
to form the stranded conductor.
Insulation:
The conductor is insulated with a layer of extruded PVC compound 70 degree or 85 degree
Assembling:
Two or more cores are laid up with suitable lay, to form the assembled cable
Sheathing:
Over assembled cable is applied an outer protecting layer of extruded PVC compound.
Voltage rating:600/1000 V
Operating temperature:70 degree or 85 degree continuous normal operation
Application:
For outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet locations, laid direct in the ground
(when well protected), in ducts, in trenches and in steel support brackets
Remark: the cable can be of flame retardants, fire resistance and other enhanced features
