Cranial Hemisphere

The cranial hemisphere is designed to cover about half of skull defects in the cranium. It provides a pre shaped implant as a possible replacement to customized, complex shaped implants & other implant materials It is available in left & right side options. The edges can be trimmed using a large scalpel blade, surgical scissors. The surgeon should adequately edge the margins for a smooth transition to the patient's bone structure. It can be stabilized with the use of surgical sutures, surgical wires, or rigid fixation techniques favoured by the surgeon.
