Character: Celluloid trimetric crystal or powder in blue ordorlessness, it will be efflorescent slowly in dry open air and the surface will become white powder heated to 45 , loss one crystal water; at 102 , loss tow crystal water; at 113 , loss 4 crystal water, become white Copper Sulphate Mono; At 258 , loss all crystal water, become white-green copper sulphate anhydrous in powder, at 650, it will decompose to Cupric oxid powder in black and liberate SO3.

It is soluble in water, its liquid react weak acid, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in ethanol anhydrous.
Uage: As a mordant for cotton and silk; used to produce green and blue pigment; used as insectucude, bactericide for water, antiseptics for wood, catalyst for tannage, electrocopper, battery. carving and so on ; used in mining industry and as raw materials of other chemicals.

In agrochemicstry, it used as pesticide, its liquid mixed with lime milk in proporting is insecticide for fruit trees and cotton and it also used to produce other pesticide (contain copper) preventing tanspotting, smut-fungi of barley & gibberella of wheat; used to produce trace-element fertilizer and as feed supplement.
