Introduction Suntec Enterprises began operations in 2001 with the primary purpose of providing industry with a media specifically manufactured for use in high quality shot peening applications - Cutwire Shot. During the past few years many advances were made in the shot peening field including: development of computer and robotic equipment; reliable shot flow controllers and sensors; process documentation via hard copy or magnetic mediums; and revised tighter specifications. The purpose of these advances is to make the shot peening process more repeatable and reliable. Unfortunately, shot peening media did not advance as well. Now a significantly improved shot peening media is available.
