Coke in 10- to 25-millimetre sizes is much used in the manufacture of phosphorus and calcium carbide; from the latter, acetylene, mainly for chemical purposes, is made. Large quantities of the smallest sizes (less than 12 millimetres), known as coke breeze, are suited for sintering small iron ore prior to use in blast furnaces. Any surplus breeze serves as an industrial boiler fuel.

Whata s Coke powder and coke particle?
the small particles less than 30mm often is called coke powder. After grading and screening, coke powder below 2mm is called coke powder (commonly known as pure powder), those within 3-9mm are called coke particles (small coke particles), and those within 10-30mm are also called coke particles (large coke particles).
