The coating thickness testing gauge for testing coatings on steel
Manual operation means that the operator controls the entire measurement process, after the magnet is set on the surface. The operator turns the scale applying a pull-off force to the magnet, until the magnet lifts off the coating, at which time the operator stops turning the scale. The thickness can be read off the scale.
