Coating Materials

General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (GRlNM) has been in the leading position in the optical coating materials in China since the late 1970s. Over 30 years GRlNM has introduced into China market over 100 kinds of the coating materials including oxides, fluorides, sulfides, targets, etc. Our dominant products are Ta2O5 materials for DWDM coating, HfO2, ZrO2, TiO2, SiO, ZnS, Ti2O3, Ti3O5, YbF3, MgF2, Cr metal, Ta metal, Hf metal, Ti metal and Zr metal materials. Other products for applied optics, such as Gea Sia ZnSa ZnSea GaAsa GaPa lnP substrates are also available. GRlNM attaches great importance to R&D in order to remain at the forefront in the field. Based on the advanced technology is the production system covering the start material preparation, forming, sintering with/without pressure, deoxidization sintering, vacuum processing, hot pressing, iso-static pressing, finish machining for ceramic or metal targets, etc. GRlNM established the Center for Optical Coating Materials (COCM) in 2001 in order to further strengthen the competitive position. The advanced quality management system ISO-9001 was enforced in COCM so as to ensure a constant quality supervision and to meet the challenge of the market. ln recent years our materials have been exported to USA, Japan, Korea, Europe, Hong Kong and Taiwan 'etc. and have won a high reputation with the superior quality and competitive price.
