Co-Trimoxazole 20mg/ 80 mg/160 mg Tablets is a combination of two various antibiotics called sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim, which is used to cure infections caused by certain type of bacteria. Like all other antibiotics, Co-Trimoxazole tablets works against certain types of bacteria. It means it is only suitable for treating certain types of infections.

Co-Trimoxazole can be used to cure or prevent:
Infection of lungs caused by a bacteria called Pneumocystis jirovecii.
Bacterial Infections called Toxoplasma (toxoplasmosis).
