RR - KABEL co-axial cables are processed by high speed state-of-the-art machinery with European technology. The central conductor is made of 99.97% pure solid electrolytic grade copper conductor, which has distinct advantages over traditional copper conductor. Previously normal copper wires were commonly used, since copper provides the best path for the radio frequency (tone) to travel on. The downside to a solid copper wire as a conductor is that the malleability of the material is too great; this limits its tensile strength. This limited tensile strength can present problems if the wire is being pulled in during boring installations or when back filling an open trench.
