- The product is compliant with DOCSIS1.1 standard. It offers not only gateway services to HFC network and external network, but also broadband data and video transmission services that based on IP. It is especially suitable for the Cable TV operators and Multi-service operators (MSO) to offer stable and reliable broadband services for their Bidirectional HFC network users.
- JH-HE 2086 CMTS adopts 1U structure. It has integrated digital upconverter so that users can set proper downstream frequencies according to the network situation discretionary.

- The equipment has four upstream channels and one downstream channel.
JH-HE 2086 CMTS use QNX OS a a distributed, embedded, real-time operation system similar to UNIX (in accord with POSIX) - as its operation system.

- Compatible with both EURO DOCSIS1.1 & US DOCSIS1.1i it also compatible with DOCSIS2.0 cable modem.
