TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
STRETCH FILM COMPOUND DP-60 IS a concentrate of very high molecular weight Polyisobutylene tackifier content and Linear Low Density Polyethylene. The composition is used as a cling agent to produce stretch wrap films from LLDPE or LDPE. It is dry free flowing pellets. The higher Polyisobutylene content in the polymer matrix achieves the excellent cling property.
Application & ADDITION Is designed to produce stretch film from LLDPE, LDPE or other polyolefina s for the applications of pallet wrap, silage wrap and It can be used in both blown or cast film process. Polymers used with DP-60 must not contain any slip or anti blocking additives or have a density higher than 0.923 as this will prevent the migration of the cling additive. Migration time for good cling properties is 20-70 hours.
For mono-layer blown films 3.5% to 5.5% DP-60 by weight should be added to LLDPE/LDPE ( or resin ). For mono-layer Cast films 1.1% to 2.1 % DP-60. On multilayer film lines, DP-60 is often added to the skin layers only. Addition rate depends on which layer is used and the layer thickness.
