Chain Oils

Adequate lubrication is very crucial for the function and service life of a correctly designed chain drive. A poor lubrication of chain elements can lead to failure of the chain so chain lubrication is very important. As a consequence, chains, which are not sufficiently lubricated cannot be subjected to very high loads. Often a chain is also insufficiently relubricated or cleaned. An efficiency decrease is primarily due to wear and damage to the hardened surface. Here a proper lubricant selection and regular maintenance have positive effects on the service life of chains.
