The micro-switch type push-buttons, mounted directly onto the printed circuit board, ensure a pleasant and smooth action, with each key performing a single function.

There are no complicated functions, difficult to remember in the field and thus rarely used. Using fewer components, which would be required to implement such features, means higher equipment reliability: a missing components cana t go wronga .

Innovative both hardware and software solutions enable absorption of the kinetic energy of the rotating elements - motor, contrangle handpiece and bur - by the motor itself when the set torque value is overrun, as the motor stops instantaneously, thus preventing the kinetic energy from discharging onto the bur.

In addition to the safety features demanded by the relevant regulations, protection of the unit against short-circuit of the motora s conductors has been provided in order to avoid any damage to the central unit. This could happen if the drill cable, when subjected to considerable mechanical stress, goes in short-circuit, which is known to have happened at times in the past.
