These towers are supporting structures for TV & FM transmitting antennae. Aster have years of experience in Design, Fabrication, Supply and Installation of Broadcast, Monopoles, High Masts and Windmill towers. The wind loads on the structure are considered as per International standards. The factors like terrain, topography and life span of the structure are also considered in the design. Ice load and seismic effects are also considered depending upon the location. The other parameters to be considered while designing the towers are the antennae load.
Considering all the above points the tower is analysed for static and dynamic effects of the wind. The tower members are designed, fabricated and installed as per International Standered viz. IS 875:1964, IS 800:1984 and IS 802:1984. The tower members including redundant and connections are checked for their strength. The towers sway and twist are calculated and maintained within specified limits.
