Jupitol Broaching Oils Grades No.J-11 and JR-13 are manufactured with selective base oils and fortified with additives containing Chlorine, Fat and Sulphur for extreme pressure (EP) properties. These additives turns active chemically at the elevated temperature at the cutting edge of the broach engaged with the work piece to form metallic chloride film. This property of the oil is essential for the specialized operations of broaching that extends the broach life between overhaul and resetting. It also imparts improved surface finish.
