Operation principle
Cutting on the RB-14 machine represents rolling of a bandage roller on forming knives with a periodic moving of the blank sheet at a distance predetermined by the program.

Knives are shaped as punching die elements with the possibility of making its set with different combinations along the length with cutting and scoring rulers.
Due to the different sizes they can be installed in accordance with the box dimensions.
The machine is equipped with a set of punching die elements (with different lengths) of two types a U-shaped ones for slot cutting and scoring ones with adjustable length. The elements are mounted on a rotary beam, which has two working surfaces and is turned by either side depending on the operation.

Knives for slot cutting and scoring are placed on the first side; knives for cutting blank length and forming the glue valve are on the second side.

Knife setting is done manually by installation according to cut plan.

Setting procedure :
Machine setting consists of four stages:
- installation of cutting knives for slot cutting on a rotary beam
- installation of valve knives on a rotary beam
- installation of longitudinal scoring and cutting knives on a cutting and creasing section
- selection of the box type and setting parameters of the blank movement on the operator panel
