Self-Contained Biological Indicator (SCBI) : Steam is for biological testing of 132-134C pre-vacuum steam sterilisers. The Self-Contained Biological Indicator contains 10^5 Geobacillus Stearothermophilus.
After exposure to steam, the SCBI when incubated will either indicate growth or no growth.
Colour Change for Biological Vial Process Indicator: Blue to Black.
Color Change for growth media: Purple to Yellow.
Color Change of media if no growth present: Purple to Purple.
Incubation Temperature/Time: 55-60C for 24 hours.
