Bimetallic Thermostat

Sense-well Controls provides a whole range of accurate rugged and reliable electromechanical temperature controllers. The Bimetallic Thermostat is of two types like Thermal Cut out Thermostat and Snap Action Thermostat.

The Thermal Cut out Thermostat is a miniature precision built bimetallic device which senses temperature rise and whose internal contacts open and interrupt current when its temperature reaches the preset trip temperature specified by the user. The contacts close automatically and restore the current when the cut-out has cooled.

The Snap Action Thermostat is a snap action automatic reset temperature sensing device the operating temperature of which may be either fixed or adjustable and which during normal operation operates by automatic opening an electric circuit when the temperature of the equipment or part of it reaches pre-determine value. These Thermostats have wide application in domestic as well as in industrial fields.
