Overview Side Effects Dosage Professional Interactions More Applies to the following strengths: 0.01%; 0.03%; 10 mcg Usual Adult Dose for: Intraocular Hypertension Glaucoma (Open Angle) Usual Pediatric Dose for: Intraocular Hypertension Glaucoma (Open Angle) Additional dosage information: Renal Dose Adjustments Liver Dose Adjustments Precautions Dialysis Other Comments Usual Adult Dose for Intraocular Hypertension One drop in the affected eye(s) once a day in the evening Comments: -If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the other drugs should be administered at least 5 minutes apart. -This drug should not be administered more than once a day as more frequent administration of prostaglandin analogs may decrease the intraocular pressure lowering. -Reduction of the intraocular pressure starts approximately 4 hours after first administration, with maximum effect reached within approximately 8 to 12 hours. Use: Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension
