1.The pore size of WIT-m tubular membranes ranges from 0.03 to 1I m, which is an overlapped range of microfiltration and ultrafiltration.
2.WIT-m tubular UF/MF membranes are composites membranes, composing of a supporting layer at the bottom and a selective layer on the surface.
3.The tubular supports, with a large ratio of length (2000 mm) to diameter (inner A 5i Outer A 10), are prepared by a patented automatic filling and shaping machine to ensure that the wall thickness deviation is a 0.1mm.
4.The supporting membranes are prepared by precisely controlled sintering of UHMW-PE particles. The particles are bond together to form an inter-connected network with isotropic 3D structure by surface melting rather than a fully fusion.
5.Due to the anchor structure formed at the interface of PE support and PVDF surface layer, the adhesion of the two layers is very strong, which can withstand 0.45 MPa compressed air pulse back-washing. It is evidenced that compressed air pulse back-washing is very effective for membrane performance regeneration and with a relative shorter regeneration time.
