Battery Backed Power Pack

An Industrial Product designed to meet the requirements of electrical control gears & panel assemblers. Provides battery backed DC output for the trip coil of 11 KV / 33 KV circuit breakers. Provides enough back-up power for repeat trip attempts up to 10 shots

Features of Battery Backed Power Pack:
* AC Input Power Supply for charging the BBPP: 110 or 230 V, +10%, -30%, 50Hz +/- 2 Hz.
* DC Output Voltage, suitable for Circuit Breaker a Tripa Coil of any standard voltage rating.
Present Options: 24 / 30 / 48 /50 /110 or 220 V, +10%, - 30%.
* Low Input Power, to allow Powering from the P.T. (Voltage Transducer), for minimal Burden.
* Output Capable of driving a Tripa Coil with up to 10 repeat Impulses of attempts of tripping.
* Internal SMF Battery & Auto. Battery Charging, Full-Charge Cut-Off, Low-Battery Cut-Off.
* Colored LED Indications: Mains ON (Green), Battery Mode (Amber), Battery Low (Red), & Output Over-load (Red).
* DC Output Over-Voltage Protection.
* AC Input & DC Output protected from Over-Current by externally replaceable Fuses.
* Spare Fuses in the Front-Panel Box for Maximum Up-Time.
* Safety a Eartha Terminal on the Input Terminal Block for grounding the BBPP Unit.
* 2 kV for 1 Minute Isolation at AC Mains Frequency, between any Terminals to Ground.
* Front-panel Battery Disconnect Switch to avoid Battery Discharge, while in Transit.
* Heavy-duty Terminal Blocks on the Front-panel for ease of terminations & field wiring.
