Barbed razor single strand (wire-reinforced) is an alternative to traditional barbed wire for low level security applications when added psychological deterrence is desired.
Barbed Tape shall be fabricated from zinc-galvanized steel or stainless steel. Barbs shall be alternately offset 3mm to 10mm from the plane of the tape centerline. The galvanized steel core wire shall be in accordance with ASTM A-764, Finish 2, Class II, Type 3, with a minimum tensile strength of 220,000 psi; and the stainless steel should be 430 or 304, Barbed tape width shall be 18mm( 0.75inches). Barbs shall be 18mm(0.75 inches) in length and punched at33mm(1.34 inch) centers.
