The BaklofenTablet is available in 10 mg tablets, it works by blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions in the body. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. The medicine decreases muscle tone, which helps to decrease spasms and stiffness caused by multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury. Baklofen is also used to relieve spasticity in adults with cerebral palsy or other disorders of the brain, spinal cord, or nerves (eg, stroke). Baklofene is prescribed for several purposes, such as the relief of spasms and cramps caused by various medical conditions. Baklofen tablets may also be used to aid the management of alcohol withdrawal symptoms, but they should not be used as the only treatment for this condition.
