Auto Indexing Chucks, have been specially designed, to machine components like universal joint bodies, spiders, gate valve bodies, hydraulic fittings etc, which need machining on 3 or 4 sides to be carried out in one set up. This way, these chucks avoid time consuming set up times for each operation or special purpose machines.

Clamping, indexing, locking and opening of the chucks are performed hydraulically to a preset programme. Idle 0 0 time is considerably reduced, by indexing the component through 4 x 90 or 3 x 120 without stopping the machine.
