1. The Main Flow Unit : It is designed to fit directly into the existing or new pipeline carrying water. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally to suit the convenience of the pipeline layout.

2. The Control Box : Houses all the components necessary to control the feed of electrical energy to the electrode. It is connected to the main flow unit through external terminals. An ammeter mounted on the Control box gives the visual indication of the current flowing through the system. The control box can be usually energized from A.C. mains of 220-230 volts, 50 cycles/sec., single Phase.
