Indications

Lower Respiratory Tract Infections.
Upper Respiratory Tract Infections.
Urinary Tract Infections.
Prophylaxis in Surgery.

Adults: The Anuclav 1000mg tablet should only be used in patients with a Glomerular.
Filtration rate of > 30ml/ min.

Dosage Administration

Adults and children over 12 years: One Anuclav 1.2g vial every 8 hours.
Severe Infections: One Anuclav 1.2g vial every 6 hours.
MIld to moderate Infections: One Anuclav 625mg tablet two times a day.
Severe Infections: One Anuclav 1000mg tablet two times a day.
Children - 3 months 12 years: 30mg/kg Anuclav 8 hourly.
Children-0-3 months: 30mg/ kg Anuclav every 12 hrs. then increase to 8 hourly.
Adult dosage for Surgical Prophylaxis: 1.2g Anuclave I.V.
Operations with high risk of Infections: Require three and upto four doses of 1.2g inj 24 hrs.

Creatinine Clearance (ml/ min)	Recommended Dosage Regimen
>30	No change in dosage (i.e. either one Anuclav 625mg tablet bid or one. Anuclav 100mg tablet bid)
10-30	One Anuclave 625 mg tablet bid, The Anuclav 1000mg tablet should not be administered. 1.2g I.v. stat. followed by 600mg I.V. 12 hourly.
<10	Not more than one Anuclav 625mg tablet every 24 hours 1.2g I.V. stat. Followed by 600mg I.V. 24 hourly. +600 I.V. dose during & at the end of dialysis.
