The typical dosage of LYARS 661 is 2-5% (active/dry starch), which is roughly equal to 0.5~1.7 kg/paper ton. The product is a dispersion polymer and it is not sensitive to pH variations. Anti- foaming agent is not usually needed. The product is anionic a it retains easily and remains on a surface of the paper/board, especially in applications where the surface size used is an oxidised or entzymaticly converted starch. As an anionic product, in the applications with OBA, it will not cause OBA invalid, can be added directly.

LYS 661 may be stimulated to skin and eyes, it is recommended to use gloves and protective glasses when use.
