Amphoteric Polyacrylamide (Zpam) Polymers

These Amphoteric Polyacrylamide (ZPAM) Polymers is made from acrylic cationic monomer, acrylamide monomer and a hydrolyzing agent through a copolymerization process. Through infra-red spectrum analysis, it is shown that the molecular chain of the product has not only carboxyl anionic charges resolution from the hydrolysis of acrylamide, but also cationic charges from the acrylic monomer. Thus, it is an amphoteric random polymer with both positive and negative charges on its molecule.
Main usage:
1. Sludge dewatering agent: Since the nature of urban sewage discharge becomes more and more complicated, requirements for sludge dewatering agent to be used in sewage treatment become increasingly strict. Using OYZ-1 is better than using single-ionic polyacrylamide, especially in the sludge dewatering of oil refineries and chemical plants.
2. Water treatment flocculant: For those waters with complex natures or frequently changeable properties, using OYZ-2 as water treatment flocculant can obtain better effect in reducing the surface tensile force than that of under same condition with anions or cations to be present alone.
3. New blocking agent for oilfield profile.
