Antipsychotic medication, primarily for the treatment of schizophrenia and acute psychotic episodes.

Amisulpride use to treat schizophrenia, disturbed thoughts, feeling & behavior and mind depression. Contraindicated use of Amisulpride in the following disease: Pheochromocytoma, Concomitant prolactin-dependent E.g. prolactinoma, breast cancer, Movement disorders E.g. ParkinsonAC/AEURAtms disease and dementia with lewy bodies, Lactation, children before the onset of puberty. MEDICAL USE: Amisulpride was ranked second and demonstrated high effectiveness, in 2013 study in a comparison of 15 antipsychotic drugs in effectiveness in treating schizophrenic. According to other studies in the treatment of schizophrenia appears to have comparable efficacy to olanzapine. In clozapine resistant cases of schizophrenia Amisulpride augmentation, similarly to sulpiride augmentation has been considered a viable treatment option.
