AMIODAR 200MG contain Amiodarone which belongs to a group of medicine called anti-arrhythmics. It is used to treat uneven heartbeats, Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, other types of fast or uneven heartbeats such as atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation. Arrhythmia is a problem with the rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. During an arrhythmia, the heart can beat too fast, too slowly, or with an irregular rhythm. When a heart beats too fast, the condition is called tachycardia. When a heart beats too slowly, the condition is called bradycardia.

AMIODAR 200MG regulates heartbeat by blocking abnormal electrical signals in the heart. This medicine must be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. This medicine is strictly not recommended for use in children and adolescents. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. The most common side effects are vomiting, change in the way things taste, changes in the amount of liver enzymes, burning more easily in the sun, slightly slower heartbeat and nightmares.
