Main Tank body is made from Zincalume metal sheets, lasting upto 4 times longer than Galvanized Steel due to its Superior corrosion resistant property. The coating contains both Zinc & Aluminium providing Sacrificial and Barrier Protection to Steel. Zincalume Steel has a coating of 55% of Zinc (Zn) , 42.5% Aluminium (Al) & 2.5% Silicon (Si), where Si is metal bonding agent. Storage Tanks for Potable Water are installed with a reinforced Multi-layer Food grade PVC Liner i.e. the same quality that goes in a blood bag or a urine bag, you see in a hospital. Wall panels are pre-curved to create the exact diameter for each tank size. Hoop strength is achieved by increasing the panel thickness, which is determined by the height to the diameter ratio. The wall panels are vertically joined using hot dipped galvanised high tensile bolts . A external bolt cover strip o prevents unwanted tampering with the bolt connections. tank designs can be modified to suit high wind load conditions including cyclonic wind conditions, in coastal areas. They can also be modified to meet Seismic Zone requirements. These are all governed by AWWA D-103 Standard. Should either of these apply in a tank location it can be incorporated at the design stage. this is more durable and compatible in nature and demand in market.
