Standards

Safety, Protective and Occupational Shoes for industrial purpose are tested according to different standards. We produce footwear according to the following European and Indian standards.

ENISO 20345/EN 345-I

Safety Shoes with Steel/Composite/Aluminium Toe Caps which resist test force of 200 Joules.

ENISO 20346/EN 346-I

Protective Shoes with Steel/Composite/Aluminium Toe Caps which resist test force of 100 Joules.

ENISO 20347/EN 347-I

Occupational Shoes without Toe Cap, but with skid resistant, antistatic or other similar features.

IS 15298:2002/ISO 8782-2:1998

Classification

Class 1: Foot wear made of leather including all-rubber or all polymeric footwear.

Class II : All rubber (i.e. entirely vulcanised (I.e. entirely moulded) footwear

Slip Resistance of Safety Protective and Occupational Shoes

In the new European standard, following three slip resistant limits are defined since beginning of 2008 and as per new standard the footwear must fulfill one of these three requirements

SRA: Slip resistance on floors with ceramic tiles with SLS(Sodium Laurylether Sulphate) solution.

SRB : Slip resistance on steel floor with glycerol.

SRC - Slip resistance on floor with ceramic tiles with SIS and on steel floor with glycerol (SRA + SRB)
