Acryloyl Morpholine (ACMO) has been used for uv and eb curable resins (primarily inks and coatings) for 10 years. it has been found that acmo displays similar properties as other reactive diluent monomers, such as n-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (nvp), but exceeds them in performance and safety. although it is a monofunctional monomer of heat resistance, but it shows very little irritation on skin (p.i.i=0.5). its vapor pressure is also low and scarcely lets out the irritating odor.
