Acid Alkali Resistant Lining

The production process in many industries involves usage of acids and alkalis of different concentration levels. Some will be spillage conditions and some others require acids to be stored in tanks. Normal concrete structures and normal floorings will not withstand the acids and will give way very shortly disturbing the trolley movement and also aesthetically looking ugly. There will be heavy load movements in the factories using trolleys and pork lifts. Normal floors cannot withstand the load and the movement of wheels will damage the flooring. A special type of flooring is required to overcome these problems. There are different methods followed in acid alkali resistant lining like conventional tiling using 38mm thick acid resistant bricks, epoxy coatings and the latest with vitrified unglazed tiles which are non slippery, stain free and non-porus. For filling up of joints also, we now have coloured epoxy grouts, which serve the purpose and also aesthetically looks good. We mainly interested of requirement in Tamil Nadu
