1,3,2-dioxathiolane 2,2-dioxide (DTD) is mainly used as an additive of lithium battery electrolyte, which can coordinate with lithium salt and alkali metal ions in solvent to form stable complexes. These complexes in the electrolyte help to form a solid electrolyte interface film (SEI film) on the electrode surface, thereby effectively inhibiting the irreversible reaction between the electrode material and the electrolyte, protecting the electrolyte and improving the cycle life of the battery. The specific effects are as follows:1) Improve the performance of the battery in high temperature cycle, high temperature storage and low temperature discharge;2) Reduce battery expansion after high temperature storage, reduce capacity attenuation and internal resistance;3) Inhibit the decline of the initial capacity of the battery and increase the initial discharge capacity;4) Improve the stability of the graphite anode, thereby enhancing the cycle performance of the battery.
