Tractors & PTO Shafts: Used on rotary cutters, tillers, and balers to disconnect power if the implement gets jammed by a stump, dense brush, or thick debris. Heavy Construction & Mining Machinery Excavators & Buckets: Protects hydraulic arms, couplers, and pins when digging into unexpectedly solid bedrock or concrete. Crushers & Conveyors: Prevents motor burnout and belt tears if uncrushable metal or wood gets fed into rock-crushing mills. Industrial Manufacturing & Utilities Power Drive Lines & Pumps: Placed in drive couplings. If a pump or mixer motor gets jammed by solid waste, the bolt shears, isolating the motor.
